Enhanced Customs Facilities for Imported Food Products in Egypt

The Egyptian government is considering new regulations to control the prices of various food items in the market. One such measure is an extension of an exemption from customs tax for imported goods for a three-month period, covering products like medicines, frozen poultry, dairy, butter, sugar, pastries, oils, and tea.

Another initiative announced by the government aims to reduce the prices of essential commodities such as beans, dairy products, white cheese, mixed oil, pasta, sugar, lentils, poultry products, eggs and rice. To achieve this goal
