The Islamic State Releases Video of Brutal Attack on Moscow Hall: ‘Show No Mercy’

On Sunday, the Islamic State released a video of the terrorist attack carried out on Friday in a concert hall in the suburbs of Moscow. The extremist group’s news agency, Amaq, released a nearly 90-second video on Sunday that it claims shows the attack at the scene.

The Arabic translation states that Amaq shows “exclusive scenes of the bloody attack on Christians”. In the beginning, a heavily armed man with an automatic rifle can be seen shooting towards a corridor in which many lifeless bodies are lying on the floor. The camera then turns to one of the terrorists, who stabs a person on the floor with a knife. The four men then pass through the deserted part of the hall, with attack voices distorted.

According to Russian authorities, four men broke into the concert hall on Friday night and opened fire. Explosions could be heard and a large fire broke out. On Sunday, the official number of people killed rose to 137. Shortly after the attack, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for it.
