Expanding Healthcare Services: Savie Health Offers Free Medical Clinic in Lompoc, California

Savie Health clinic to offer additional services in the near future

Savie Health, a free medical clinic in Lompoc, California, has recently announced the expansion of its health, behavioral health, and vision care services. The clinic will now offer Spanish-speaking women’s health groups and grief therapy in partnership with Hospice of Santa Barbara.

Savie Health has been providing essential medical care to underserved individuals in the area for years. However, recent data indicates that depression rates are on the rise and the average income for a family of four is just $22,000. To better serve these individuals, the clinic has transitioned into a Community Clinic that accepts Medi-Cal.

In addition to its existing services, Savie Health has also hired a part-time patient advocate to assist with Medi-Cal enrollment, outreach events, and accompany patients during visits. The clinic’s vision program has been providing services to those without vision insurance every other Friday since the beginning of 2024.

As part of its expansion efforts, Savie Health will also be offering nutritional classes in Spanish for diabetic patients to help them understand the benefits of a healthier diet. Other services that will be provided by the clinic include women’s health services, COVID and MPox vaccinations, free medication provision, cortisone injections
