Amighetti’s has recently returned to the Hill neighborhood after a nearly four-year hiatus. The bread baking and sandwich shop has restored its legacy that began during World War I. The new location is at 5390 Southwest Ave., less than a mile from the bakery’s former spot.

Cunetto House of Pasta is another popular Italian restaurant on Magnolia Ave that has been a staple on the Hill since brothers Vince and Joe Cunetto opened it in 1974. The restaurant is known for its mountain of red sauce pasta dishes and bustling atmosphere.

Vitale’s Bakery on the Hill is a fourth-generation family business that has remained committed to passing down its traditions and recipes through generations. The bakery showcases the essence of family-run businesses with its signature pastries, cakes, and breads.

Rigazzi’s has been a part of the Hill neighborhood for almost 70 years, under new ownership, it continues to thrive while maintaining its signature frozen fishbowls that customers love. Corey Christanell and Donn Ganim are dedicated to keeping the essence of Rigazzi’s alive while also bringing fresh ideas to keep up with changing tastes.

Failoni’s Restaurant and Bar in Dogtown has been a family-run establishment since it was opened by Alex and Rose Failoni in 1916. The restaurant remains in the same building throughout its history, offering quality Italian food to its patrons while preserving their heritage.
