Fort Osage High School Celebrates Career & Technology Center Students’ Achievements with Signing Day Ceremony

Embracing new challenges at Fort Osage Career & Technology Center

Diego Gonzalez Aguilar and Liam Strong were both recognized during the Career & Technology Center signing day ceremony at Fort Osage High School. They, along with 30 other students, will be working at Cable Dahmer Chevrolet on 103rd Street in Kansas City. The ceremony was held last Thursday and both students were congratulated by their teachers, including CTC automotive teacher Bryan Compton and teacher Bill Lieb.

Diego Gonzalez Aguilar moved from Mexico and settled in Eastern Jackson County three years ago. Since then, he has been taking classes at the Career & Technology Center. Along with Liam Strong, he was recognized during the signing day ceremony for his achievements. Both students will be working at Cable Dahmer Chevrolet, where they hope to continue growing and developing their skills in the automotive industry.

The signing day ceremony at Fort Osage High School celebrated the achievements of 30 students who have completed their studies at the Career & Technology Center. These students were congratulated by their teachers, including Bryan Compton and Bill Lieb, who have been instrumental in guiding them on their journey towards success. As they move forward into the workforce, these students are poised to make a meaningful impact in their chosen fields.
