FOX 25 and Science Museum Oklahoma Join Forces to Host Storm Safety Day

FOX 25 partners with Science Museum Oklahoma to host Storm Safety Day

The Science Museum Oklahoma and FOX 25 are collaborating to raise awareness about weather-related safety among residents. On Saturday, the Storm Safety Day will be held at the museum from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. FOX 25’s Chief Meteorologist, Jack Gerfen, will host live shows at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. to provide valuable weather information to the visitors.

The National Weather Service, Oklahoma City’s Office of Emergency Management, and the American Red Cross will have activity and information tables staffed by their representatives during the event. Visitors can participate in hands-on science experiences led by SMO’s museum educators, exploring topics such as wind, electricity, and air pressure. These activities and demonstrations are free with admission to the museum.
