Matt Ryan to Join CBS Sports NFL Studio Show as Longtime Analysts Simms and Esiason Depart

Matt Ryan, a 15-year veteran of the NFL, has been announced as the newest studio analyst on CBS Sports’ “The NFL Today.” This move comes after longtime analysts Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason depart from the show. Ryan will join James Brown, Nate Burleson, Bill Cowher, and JJ Watt on the studio team.

Ryan’s addition to the show is significant as it marks his first role in broadcasting since retiring from his career with the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts. He had a successful first year at CBS Sports where he served as an NFL game analyst and appeared in the studio during the playoffs and Super Bowl.
