Special Aerospace Services acquires secure communications business

Godspeed Capital Management has introduced Special Aerospace Services (SAS) to the government market, with SAS acquiring Willbrook Solutions and Quintron Systems in two separate transactions. In its second acquisition, SAS purchased Quintron Systems, a secure communications technology company specializing in space and defense programs. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but according to USASpending.gov data, Quintron has recorded $1.2 million in unclassified prime contract obligations over the past 12 months, with NASA accounting for 92% of that and the Army for the remaining portion. As part of the acquisition, Quintrion’s president, Dominick Barry, was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of SAS. Latham & Watkins LLP provided legal advice to Godspeed Capital while The McLean Group acted as the exclusive financial adviser to Quintrion.
