Google Photos Update Enhances Memories Feature with ‘Show Less’ Option for Specific Face Control

Google Photos now offers the ability to conceal specific faces in the Memories section

In the latest update of Google Photos, the app has introduced a new feature to its Memories section. This new feature allows users to have more control over what they see in their Memories section by giving them the ability to use the ‘Show less’ option to limit the appearance of specific faces in their photos stored in that space.

The app is able to detect images of places, pets or faces and organize them into different sections, making it easier for users to find certain photos. The ‘People and Pets’ section of Google Photos includes a button that allows users to ‘Hide faces from memories’, which gives them more control over which faces appear in their Memories while still potentially showing up in group photos.

This new functionality can be accessed from the Settings section of the app, under Preferences and then clicking on Memories. With this new feature, users will be able to customize their Memories section and choose which photos are displayed.
