Harlem Wizards Return to WFSD for a Spectacular Show

Recently, faculty and staff from Tangier Smith Elementary School and John S. Hobart Elementary School played basketball against the Harlem Wizards in a charity game. The event was held at William Floyd and Kopa, a therapy dog, served as the honorary referee for the exciting match.

The Harlem Wizards returned to William Floyd once again to show off their impressive basketball skills and put on an entertaining performance. The game was filled with laughter, energy, and stunning basketball moves that left the audience in awe.

In addition to the thrilling game, the event featured a range of activities including the Wizards’ talent showcase, warm-up session with “Wiz-Kids,” comedy acts, contests, raffles, slam dunks, autographs, and more. To wrap up the fun-filled night, the “Wiz-Kids” joined in on the Wizards’ dance party.

The William Floyd community expressed their gratitude to the Harlem Wizards for their visit and to everyone who attended the event. Special recognition was given to the Hobart and Tangier Smith PTOs for their dedication and hard work in organizing the successful charity game.
