Hendrick Motorsports Leads Pack in Richmond NASCAR Cup Race; Busch and Bell Engage in Post-Race Confrontation at COTA

Kyle Larson secures pole position in Richmond Cup starting lineup

On Sunday night, the Cup race will feature a pair of Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolets leading the field. Kyle Larson, the defending spring Richmond winner, won the pole and will lead the way, with teammate Chase Elliott next to him on the front row. Chevrolet drivers locked out the first two rows, with Ross Chastain in third and Alex Bowman in fourth.

Meanwhile at COTA, Kyle Busch confronted Christopher Bell on pit road after the Cup race. Todd Gilliland was the top Ford driver, qualifying sixth. Austin Cindric and Joey Logano were also Ford drivers inside the top 10, with Cindric in ninth and Logano in 10th. The green flag for the Easter Sunday race is set to wave at 7:15 p.m. ET, with coverage starting on Fox at 7 p.m., preceded by pre-race coverage on FS1 at 5:30 p.m., and Fox at 6 p.m.

In addition to these drivers, Bubba Wallace was the first Toyota driver in fifth place, while Martin Truex Jr. in seventh and Ty Gibbs in eighth represented the other Toyota drivers in the top 10.
