Inspire Brands Appoints Yasir Anwar as Chief Technology Officer: Enhancing Brand Growth Through Innovative Solutions

Yasir Anwar appointed as chief technology officer by Inspire Brands

Paul Brown, the CEO and co-founder of Inspire Brands, announced the appointment of Yasir Anwar as the company’s chief technology officer on Tuesday. Anwar brings extensive experience in leading transformative change and building in-house and agile technology teams to his new role.

In his previous positions, Anwar served as the chief technology and digital officer of Williams-Sonoma and CTO of Macy’s, where he led tech teams that delivered innovative solutions to meet business needs. He also held tech leadership roles at Walmart and Wells Fargo.

As Inspire Brands continues to grow its iconic brands, including Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic Drive-In, Jimmy John’s, Dunkin’, and Baskin Robbins, Anwar will oversee various teams that focus on product engineering, data engineering, technology operations, architecture, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and infrastructure and development operations.

Anwar expressed his excitement about joining Inspire Brands during a dynamic time for the organization. He is eager to contribute to the company’s vision of developing shared technology capabilities for its iconic brands while better serving guests, franchisees and gaining insights into its business through data.
