Yasir Anwar appointed as Chief Technology Officer by Inspire Brands

Inspire Brands has welcomed Yasir Anwar as its new Chief Technology Officer. With over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Anwar has held leadership roles at various Fortune 500 companies including Macy’s, Walmart, and Wells Fargo. Most recently, he served as the Chief Technology and Digital Officer at Williams-Sonoma.

At Inspire Brands, Anwar will play a crucial role in enhancing the company’s technology capabilities. He is expected to drive transformative change and collaborate with brands within the organization. As Chief Technology Officer, his responsibilities include overseeing teams focused on Product Engineering, Data Engineering, Technology Operations, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications, and Infrastructure and Development Operations. His goal is to streamline technology processes and drive data-driven insights for the company’s iconic brands.

Inspire Brands’ Co-Founder and CEO, Paul Brown expressed excitement about Anwar joining the team and his role in advancing the organization’s technology strategy. Anwar officially began his role on May 6th and reports directly to Brown while also serving on the company’s Management Committee.

Anwar is enthusiastic about contributing to Inspire Brands and working with its technology teams to further innovate and support the company’s growth. His collaborative approach and extensive expertise are expected to accelerate the company’s journey towards its technological vision.
