On Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they had arrested around 480 members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad groups, as well as located weapons and terrorist infrastructure in the Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. The hospital, which has been under military siege for seven consecutive days, has seen five injured patients die due to the siege while 13 patients in the intensive care unit also succumbed to a lack of electricity and medical treatment.
The Health Ministry of the Gaza Strip, controlled by Hamas, reported that Israeli forces had detained 240 patients and relatives, as well as ten medical professionals. These individuals were interrogated over 800 suspects, with 480 believed to be terrorists. Meanwhile, Israeli troops have killed 170 combatants and one soldier was also killed in operations inside the hospital.
Fighter jets have struck 65 targets in the northern and central Gaza Strip, targeting tunnels, military compounds, and drone manufacturing laboratories. Troops eliminated several terrorists through sniper fire and destroyed Hamas military infrastructure in various areas. Additionally, soldiers discovered weapons hidden in bags from the UNRWA in a residential building.
The IDF identified terrorist infrastructures belonging to Hamas, eliminated threats near the fence, and destroyed weapons storage facilities and infrastructure where terrorists were hiding. Operations continue in various areas to target terrorist organizations and neutralize threats.
