Jacksonville introduces new mental health program in effort to help community

The City of Jacksonville marked Mental Health Awareness Month with a special ceremony at City Hall, kicking off a mental health initiative aimed at promoting mental wellness in the community. Mayor Donna Deegan, City Council President Ron Salem, Chief Health Officer Dr. Sunil Joshi, and Executive Director of Health Programs Lynn Sherman were among the attendees.
