The Liberty Hill ISD is set to introduce new instructional materials in various science and technology classes for the upcoming school year. The decision was made by the board of trustees after a thorough review process that involved input from teachers and the community.
The district has chosen new instructional materials for a range of courses, including science classes from kindergarten to eighth grade, as well as specific courses like Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Systems, Aquatic Science, Physics, and Integrated Physics and Chemistry. Additionally, technology applications for kindergarten through fifth grade will also receive new materials. The total cost of these materials is $352,152, which will be covered by the district’s Instructional Materials and Technology Allotment.
In November 2023, the State Board of Education (SBOE) approved new materials for a variety of subjects, including science, technology applications
