Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament to Feature Nearly 900 Middle and High School Students Competing in STEM Events

The Science Olympiad starts at MSU on Friday

Montana State University will host nearly 900 middle and high school students from 80 teams across the state at the Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament. The tournament, which is considered one of the largest STEM competitions in Montana, will bring together students from cities like Choteau, Conrad, Corvallis, Darby, Ennis, Fromberg, Gallatin Gateway, Hardin, Harrison, Libby, Livingston, Manhattan, Noxon, Roundup, Shepherd, Sidney and Thompson Falls.

During the tournament, students will participate in various events and challenges that test their knowledge and abilities in different scientific disciplines. The winners of the state tournament will have the opportunity to compete at the national level. The national tournament will take place at Michigan State University this spring. It’s a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents and represent their schools and communities on a larger stage.
