Murphy Oil Corporation, a leading independent retailer of gasoline products and convenience store merchandise in the United States, has secured a lease for property in Irmo, South Carolina. The company has signed a ground lease for a one-acre property located at 6119 St. Andrews Road in Irmo. This property is situated at the intersection of St. Andrews Road and Bush River Road, a busy area in the city.

With approximately 17,000 cars passing by the property on St. Andrews Road daily, and around 10,000 cars on Bush River Road, the leased site offers great visibility to potential customers. Its proximity to the Harbison shopping district makes it an attractive location for Murphy Oil Corporation’s growth plans.

Murphy Oil Corporation is one of the largest independent retailers of gasoline products and convenience store merchandise in the United States. The company has plans to expand its operations, having opened 28 new locations in 2023 and aiming to open 30 to 35 additional locations in 2024.

In addition to the new location in Irmo, there are several Murphy gas stations throughout the Midlands area, including one near Williams-Brice Stadium that recently opened along Bluff Road. The company’s expansion efforts reflect its commitment to serving customers across the region.
