Neil Robertson and Noppon Saengkham have advanced to the final round of qualifying for this year’s World Snooker Championship. Saengkham, the Thai number one, showcased his skills with a maximum 147 break while Robertson, the 2010 world champion, secured his spot in the championship with a 10-2 win over Zak Surety.

Robertson, who has dropped out of the world’s top 16, will have to qualify for the championship for the first time since 2006. The 42-year-old Australian’s victory over Surety sets up a match against either Jamie Jones or Alfie Burden. Saengkham, on the other hand, will face Jackson Page of Wales in his bid to secure a place in the main tournament at the Crucible.
