New Contract with MilDef Group: Handheld Provides Customized Operator Computers for Nano Drones with SEK 69 Million Valuation

Subsidiary of MilDefs, Handheld, secures 69 MSEK contract for nanodrone technology

MilDef Group, a global defense group based in the US, has secured a contract with Handheld to provide operator computers for nano drones. The customer specializes in providing nano drones for military battlefield surveillance and the contract is worth SEK 69 million. This follows a development order announced in July 2023. There is potential for growth as additional quantities are delivered, with planned deliveries scheduled for 2025-2026.

The operator computers provided by Handheld are customized based on a 7-inch ultra-rugged Android tablet. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have become critical assets in modern warfare, transforming the way military operations are conducted. They offer a range of advantages that have reshaped the battlefield and improved military capabilities.
