New Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Augusta Health: Timothy Norton Brings Extensive Healthcare Legal Experience to the Team

Augusta Health Appoints New Vice President and Chief Legal Officer

Timothy Norton has been appointed as the new Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Augusta Health, succeeding Jean Veilleux who will retire in July after four years of service. Norton is a native of Virginia Beach and a graduate of George Mason University and Widener School of Law, where he also holds an LL.M. degree in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Before joining Augusta Health, Norton previously worked at Health First in Melbourne, Florida, as the Vice President and Deputy Chief Legal Counsel. He also had extensive experience in healthcare legal and regulatory affairs at WellSpan Health in York, Pennsylvania, where he was the Assistant General Counsel.

Mary N. Mannix, the President and CEO of Augusta Health, expressed her pleasure in welcoming Norton to the team, citing his extensive experience in healthcare legal and regulatory affairs as an asset to the organization. She is confident that his background in healthcare transactions and regulations will be valuable to the organization’s mission to enhance the health and well-being of the community.
