Pitcher Brenden Asher: From Bartlesville High School to Oral Roberts University

Bartlesville Radio: All Things Sports

Congratulations to Brenden Asher, the final Patriot Auto Group Athlete of the Week, powered by Tri County Tech. As spring sports are coming to an end, Asher has been a consistent pitcher for Bartlesville High and a three-year Doenges Ford Indian pitcher. He will be playing NCAA Division I baseball at Oral Roberts next year, but first, he will finish his high school career. During his final regular season start this past Tuesday, Asher threw seven innings of one-run baseball, showcasing his talent.

Over the past four years, Asher has continuously improved and never had an ERA over 3.2 as a District starter. He will be the third Bruin to play at ORU since 2017 and talks about why he chose to play for the Golden Eagles. Despite an up-and-down 2024 season, Asher and his fellow seniors have led a younger group of Bruins. Regionals are set to begin on Tuesday for BHS, and Asher talks about Bartlesville’s outlook.

As Regionals approach, BHS will head to Union for a first-round game against the Redhawks. Although the official bracket has not been released yet, this is an exciting opportunity for Asher and his teammates to continue their journey in competitive baseball.
