Real Madrid Supports Socio-Sport Development in Namibia with Educational Football Clinics

Butragueño introduces sports education clinics to be conducted in Namibia

This program, now in its second year, is expected to involve more than 1,000 children and will be funded by Cadilu Fishing, with support from the Ministries of Sport and Education, as well as the Spanish Embassy in Namibia.

Two coaches from the Real Madrid Foundation will travel to Namibia to work with young people who wish to participate in the clinics. These clinics offer a unique experience for children to learn more about football and develop important values through the educational methodology of the Foundation. The support from the Ministry of Sports and the Spanish Embassy has helped to establish these clinics as an ongoing program, and there are plans to further support sport and education in the country with the launch of an Educational Football Program in September, also sponsored by Cadilu Fishing.

The proceeds from these activities will help to support socio-sport projects run by the Real Madrid Foundation in the region for children at risk of exclusion.
