NovAtel has recently released an updated version of their Application Suite, which includes new technology to improve positioning accuracy. The new GNSS Resilience and Integrity Technology (GRIT) allows users to detect and mitigate radio frequency interference through the GRIT Monitor application.
The GRIT technology is available on all OEM7 GNSS receiver products, including individual cards and enclosures like smart antennas, PwrPak, and MarinePak. The GRIT Monitor is a software visualization tool that provides a comprehensive dashboard view of positioning and device status, helping users make informed decisions about device performance.
One of the key features of the GRIT Monitor is its interactive spectrum viewer, which displays all constellations and frequency bands, as well as a signal matrix showing signal quality and interference status by frequency band and constellation. Additionally, there’s a position overview map that shows the user’s location along with the source of any interference detected.
With this update to their Application Suite, NovAtel has added additional Manage functionality (previously known as Setup and Monitor) to support MarinePak users. To access the new GRIT Monitor application, users can download NovAtel Application Suite Version 2.0 at
