Rising Stars: Houston Texans’ Successful Draft Brings Talent and Depth to Defense and Offense.

Solid But Unremarkable Haul: Houston Texans Receive Respectable Draft Grades in 2024 NFL Draft

The Houston Texans had a successful draft, earning a grade of B. Despite not having a first-round pick, they were able to secure quality players that will help strengthen their foundation. The first four picks have the potential to make immediate contributions, which is all you can ask for without a first-day pick. While it may not have been as flashy as last year’s draft, which landed them C.J. Stroud and Will Anderson Jr., this draft was still impressive.

One favorite pick from the draft was Kamari Lassiter, a cornerback from Georgia selected 42nd overall. Lassiter is a physical corner with elite short-area quickness and strong tackling ability. While his lack of long speed may confine him to the slot in the NFL, he adds depth to the Texans’ talented defensive backfield.

On the other hand, the least favorite pick was Blake Fisher, an offensive tackle from Notre Dame selected 59th overall. Fisher has the potential to develop into a great player but faces a steep learning curve early in his career. However, he has the talent to be a huge boom pick for the Texans in the future.

The Texans’ draft picks included Kamari Lassiter, Blake Fisher, Calen Bullock, Cade Stover, Jamal Hill, Jawhar Jordan, Solomon Byrd, Marcus Harris, and LaDarius Henderson. Each pick adds depth and talent to the team, setting them up for success in the future. With these additions to their roster
