Russian Airlines Suspend Flights to Israel, Iraq, and Jordan Amid Airspace Closure

Flights to Israel, Iraq, and Jordan suspended by Russia

The Federal Air Transport Agency has announced the suspension of flights of Russian airlines to Israel, Iraq, and Jordan until restrictions are lifted. This decision was made in response to NOTAM messages from aviation authorities regarding the closure of airspace in these countries during specific time frames.

According to the Telegram channel of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Russian airlines will be unable to operate flights to or through these countries until further notice. Flights to these countries or the use of their airspace for transit flights are suspended until the restrictions are lifted.

The closure of airspace in Jordan, Iraq, and Israel during the specified time periods has caused significant challenges for the aviation industry. Passengers with travel plans to these destinations should check with their airlines for updates and alternative arrangements. The aviation industry continues to navigate challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic and varying travel restrictions imposed by different countries.
