Seahawks Eyeing Free Agency for Interior Offensive Line Solutions: A Closer Look at Greg Van Roten

Seahawks host visit from Greg Van Roten

In recent weeks, Seahawks General Manager John Schneider has made it clear that the team needs help on their interior offensive line. The team is currently exploring both the draft and free agency as potential solutions to this issue. With the draft still several weeks away, the Seahawks are currently focusing on free agency.

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC, one player that the team is considering is veteran guard Greg Van Roten. Van Roten started every game for the Raiders last season and has been a starter for multiple teams throughout his career, including the Bills, Jets, Panthers, and Packers. Although there have been reports of interest in Laken Tomlinson and Cody Whitehair, neither of those players has yet visited Seattle at this time.

The Seahawks are actively seeking ways to improve their interior offensive line and are eager to explore all possible options before making any final decisions. As they continue their search for talent, they will keep an eye on developments in both the draft and free agency to ensure that they are able to make informed decisions about how best to bolster their roster.
