Sharon Osbourne: Technology Critic Turns to Family TV Show Idea with Grandkids

Sharon Osbourne believes technology is detrimental for children

Sharon Osbourne is a staunch critic of technology and its impact on children. In a recent interview, the 71-year-old former ‘X Factor’ judge and music manager expressed her strong disapproval of young people using social media, calling it “insane.” She believes that iPads and iPhones can have negative effects on children, especially when they have their own social media accounts.

Despite her reservations about technology, Sharon did not completely rule out the possibility of a family TV show featuring her grandchildren. Her grandkids include Kelly’s son Sidney and Jack’s daughters Pearl, Andy Rose, Minnie Theodora, and Maple Artemis. When asked about collaborating on a television project with her kids and grandkids, Sharon shared that she doesn’t actively think about it but didn’t completely dismiss the idea. She joked that they better do it quickly before she passes away.

In a heartwarming moment, Sharon shared a photo on Instagram of herself with all five of her grandchildren. The image captured her holding Sidney and Maple, surrounded by her other granddaughters Minnie, Andy, and Pearl. She expressed how grateful she feels for her growing family by captioning the photo with “My Cup Runneth Over.”
