Spring Break Care: Carson City’s School-Based Health Center Stays Open with Extended Hours

Carson City School-Based Health Center remains open during spring break

The School-Based Health Center, a collaboration between Nevada Health Centers and the Carson City School District, will maintain regular hours during spring break. Situated behind Gleason School at 604 W. Musser, the center is located at 612 W. Musser Street. Operating hours are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a lunch break from 12-1 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 800-787-2568.

This health center caters to Carson City families with school-aged children and offers various services including preventive health and wellness, well child checks, sick visits, sports physicals, immunizations, and health management. Payment sources accepted at the center include private insurance, Medicaid and Medicare, Nevada Check Up, Women’s Health Connection, and a sliding fee scale for low-income uninsured patients.
