Steubenville High School Senior Signs to Continue Education and Track Career at Mount Union University

Big Red’s Schoonover transferring to Mount Union for academics and athletics opportunities

Josh Schoonover, a senior at Steubenville High School, recently signed to continue his academic and track and field careers at Mount Union University. The signing ceremony was attended by Schoonover’s coaches and school administrators, including cross country coach Emily Pearson, distance running coach Elizabeth Atkins, Steubenville High School principal Ted Gorman, Assistant Principal Aaron Newman, and head track and field coach Andy Kidwell.

Schoonover’s commitment to both his education and athletic pursuits has earned him this opportunity to further his skills and talents at the collegiate level. With the support of his family, coaches, and school community, he is well-prepared for the challenges and successes that lie ahead at Mount Union University.
