In the ninth inning, Lisa Lamey drew a walk and advanced to third on Michelle Wolf’s bunt before scoring on Lisa Jones’ sacrifice fly, securing the victory for Union-Endicott. The team had an impressive collective batting average of .344, with Caren Osier leading the way with a .529 average followed by Shannon Walsh at .475.
Johnson City also demonstrated strong performances in their matchup against Susquehanna Valley.
