If your company is one of the top places to work in the Capital Region, you can make it official by registering for Business Report’s 2024 Best Places to Work. Registration is now open and closes on Friday, May 3. The program is a free awards program that recognizes companies that excel in creating a positive workplace environment and are known for their efforts to attract and retain top talent. An independent firm, Workforce Research Group, determines the selection and ranking for Business Report’s Best Places to Work.
To participate in the program, companies must meet specific criteria such as having at least 15 full- or part-time permanent employees working in Baton Rouge and having a physical operation in the Baton Rouge region. Participants can be publicly or privately held organizations, for-profit or non-profit entities, or government organizations, and must have been in business for at least one year by the registration deadline.
Companies that choose to participate will be evaluated by Workforce Research Group on various factors including company policies, practices, demographics, benefits, and employee satisfaction in key focus areas like role satisfaction, work/life balance, leadership, and training. The 2024 Best Places to Work will be recognized in a special issue of Business Report in October with a celebration held in their honor.
