UAlbany Men’s Lacrosse Team Faces Sacred Heart in NCAA Tournament

The UAlbany men’s lacrosse team secured the America East championship and earned a spot in the NCAA tournament. The Great Danes are now set to play one more game at home this season against Sacred Heart at Casey Stadium. Graduate long-stick midfielder Jake Piseno expressed the team’s desire for more than just the conference title, emphasizing their goal to advance further in the tournament.

This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams, with Sacred Heart entering the NCAA tournament for the first time after a successful season in the MAAC. UAlbany head coach Scott Marr acknowledged the strength of their opponent and emphasized the need for focus and preparation.
