Natchez, MS – A Small Business Borrower-Lender Match-Making Event is coming to Natchez on Friday, providing an opportunity for small business owners to connect with banks and lenders. Hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration Mississippi District Office, the event will take place at the Natchez Convention Center from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Small business owners and entrepreneurs can attend the event to pitch their financing needs to top small business lenders, learn more about what lenders look for in loan proposals, and understand the loan application process. It is recommended that participants come prepared with multiple copies of their business plans for distribution. The SBA offers a “Build a Business Plan” online tool to guide business owners through creating a basic, downloadable business plan. Additionally, the Mississippi Resource Partners Network can provide assistance in preparing business plans.
Representatives from the Resource Partners Network will be available for individual consultations during the event, and SBA’s Learning Center offers online training courses to help entrepreneurs learn about different aspects of business ownership. On-site appointments with lenders will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
