VCU Health’s Giving Day: A Unique Opportunity to Make a Difference on April 24.

Community members from VCU and VCU Health unite for third annual Giving Day

VCU Health is inviting donors to join the annual Giving Day on April 24, an event that brings together the VCU and VCU Health communities to support patient care, student scholarships, innovative research, and more. The day presents a unique opportunity for supporters to increase the impact of their gifts by participating in special donation matches and challenges.

VCU President Michael Rao is encouraging alumni, faculty, staff, students, family, and friends to come together to make a difference in the lives of patients and students across campus. During VCU’s Philanthropy Week from March 18-26th, students have the chance to express their gratitude towards donors who contribute to various programs including scholarships, research, healthcare, facilities, arts and sports. Donors are recognized for their role in advancing research, healthcare and student support at VCU.

VCU Health’s Giving Day presents a chance for supporters to enhance patient care by supporting specific care teams or research initiatives associated with VCU Medical Center – the region’s only academic medical center. This event will empower donors to make a difference in multiple areas by rising up to the challenge and supporting programs that align with their passions.

Overall Giving Day empowers donors to make a positive impact on others by joining forces with the VCU community on this special day.
