XDefiant Delayed for a Year, Finally Releases on Xbox Series on May 21

XDefiant, a first-person shooter game, will launch on Xbox, PS5, and PC on May 21.

XDefiant, a first-person shooter game by Ubisoft, will launch on May 21 for Xbox Series. Originally planned for a summer 2023 release, the game was delayed due to certification issues from Sony and Microsoft. The development team has now announced that it will be released on Xbox, PS5, and PC platforms.

Players in XDefiant must choose one of the five factions available and customize their equipment before starting the game and at respawn. The game features five game modes on 14 maps, with 24 weapons and 44 accessories. Each faction offers two active skills, a passive upgrade, and an ultra skill that must be charged during the game.

Weapons include submachine guns, shotguns, assault rifles, and sniper rifles. Players can equip one primary and one secondary weapon as well as a grenade. Game modes are divided into Arena categories such as Domination, Occupy, and HotShot as well as Linear modes with Zone Control and Escort.
