Young New Zealander Kazuma Kobori Secures DP World Tour Exemptions and Invitations to Upcoming Golf Tournaments

Gale and Coletta earn DP World Tour cards alongside Kobori

Daniel Gale and Brett Coletta have secured two remaining DP World Tour exemptions for 2025 through the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit. Kazuma Kobori, a 22-year-old New Zealander, clinched the top spot after winning three times since January and received status for the 2025 DP World Tour season as well as a start at this year’s Open Championship at Royal Troon.

In addition to his exemptions, Kobori has also received invitations to two upcoming tournaments – the Hero Indian Open from March 28-31 and the ISPS HANDA Championship from April 25-28 in Japan. Kobori expressed his excitement about these upcoming starts, noting that it gives him a “free run” to see how he performs in these events. He also mentioned that playing in these tournaments will better prepare him for when his exemption category through the Australasian Order of Merit starts.

Kobori is looking forward to making the most of his exemptions and is eager to make a strong impact on the DP World Tour in 2025 with his impressive performances and recent victories.
