The Gladstone BraveBots robotics team recently competed in the World competition in Houston, Texas, where they were cheered on by supporters. After excelling in the state competition, the BraveBots earned a spot at the World competition. The team was determined to make a strong finish and worked tirelessly for three days, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

Despite their best efforts, the BraveBots lost to the #7 alliance in their final match, ultimately resulting in their defeat at the championship. However, Coach Tim Barron was proud of his team’s dedication and hard work, especially highlighting the seniors who led them through this journey. Even though they have graduated, Barron expressed optimism for the future of the BraveBots thanks to a talented group of underclassmen who are eager to take up leadership roles within the team.

Barron also extended gratitude to his team’s mentors who generously donated their time and expertise to help support them throughout their competitions. The mentors played an essential role in shaping the BraveBots into a successful team and were recognized for their contributions by both Barron and his players.

Overall, despite not winning this year’s championship, Coach Tim Barron is proud of what his team achieved during their time together and is excited about what lies ahead for them as they continue to grow as individuals and as a team.
