The competition received entries from six continents and featured categories such as Underwater, People and Nature, Plants and Fungi, and Animal Portraits. One of the standout images that won the grand prize was a photo of gannets fighting over a fish in the Shetland Islands.

The winning photos were selected by a panel of judges who carefully evaluated each entry based on criteria such as technical excellence, creativity, and impact. In addition to recognizing exceptional photography skills, the contest also aimed to promote sustainability and raise awareness about climate change and its impact on nature. For every photo submission received, a tree is planted to promote reforestation efforts. Additionally, a tree is planted for every print sold of a winning photo.
