Poll Reveals Which Presidential Candidate Voters Have Faith in Managing Economy and Inflation

A recent poll conducted by ABC News/Ipsos reveals that when it comes to managing the economy and inflation, a majority of voters have more trust in former President Donald Trump compared to current President Joe Biden. With the upcoming presidential election in November, respondents indicated that the economy and inflation were their top priorities, with 88% and 85% respectively.

In terms of handling the economy, 46% of voters preferred Trump over Biden, who received only 32% support. A significant portion of voters, 21%, expressed their lack of trust in both candidates when it comes to managing economic issues effectively. Similarly, when it comes to inflation, Trump was preferred by 46% of voters over Biden’s 30%. One-fourth of voters expressed no trust in either candidate when it comes to addressing rising inflation.

Despite these preferences for Trump in managing the economy and inflation, the poll shows a tight race between him and Biden for the upcoming election. Biden holds a slim advantage over Trump among registered voters at 46% compared to Trump’s 45%, while likely voters show increased support for Biden at 49% compared to Trump’s 45%. Overall, this poll highlights the importance of these issues to voters as they make their decision on who will lead them into the future.
