French Bakers Reclaim the Title of Longest Baguette: Achieving a Guinness World Record in Paris

French bakers successfully bring home world’s longest baguette, setting a new record

A team of chefs in Paris recently broke the Guinness World Record for baking the longest baguette at 461 feet. They had previously held the record, which was broken by Italian bakers in Cuomo. The new record-breaking baguette was served to the public after being approved by a Guinness World Records judge.

To have a record verified and recognized by the organization, individuals or groups must apply for the attempt to be reviewed. This can take several weeks, and record breakers may opt for priority applications for a quicker review. Evidence of the attempt must be submitted for review, and applicants have the option to have an adjudicator present during the attempt.

Achieving a Guinness World Record requires careful planning, execution, and evidence to support the record-breaking feat. The French bakers were thrilled to have beaten their previous record and achieved the title of baking the world’s longest baguette.
