The acceleration program that will ready Israeli startups for integration into NASA

The ‘EXPAND’ accelerator program, launched by Creation-Space, is aimed at start-ups in various fields such as robotics, materials, construction, food and health technologies. These start-ups are interested in exploring how their developments can be applied to space missions. The program offers support and prestige for the national market and is in partnership with the TECH-7 innovation community, and supported by the Jewish National Fund USA and the American investment fund CreationsVC.

The winning start-up will receive a scientific-technological grant of 100 thousand NIS. Dr. Rui Naor, founder of Creation-Space, emphasizes the potential for Israel to contribute significantly to space exploration and sustainability on Earth.

Creation-Space has already made investments in several Israeli start-up companies including Alumentry, which develops technology for aluminum production on Earth and in space. The goal of the EXPAND program is to push innovative solutions for space missions and environmental challenges forward towards a new future.

Registration for the program opened on April 15th and selected ventures will participate in an opening event in Mitzpe Ramon, Israel’s city of space and stars. The accelerator offers startups mentoring from experts in the space industry, business support as well as workshops to help them grow their businesses further.
