Jeffrey Kale, a missing Charlotte business owner, was found dead off the coast of North Carolina. His boat was discovered more than 80 miles away from Wrightsville Beach on Tuesday, with no one on board. Kale went fishing in the Atlantic Ocean on April 6 but never returned to shore. His family has not had any contact with him since, according to Oak Island Police.
The Coast Guard located Kale’s boat after suspending the search operation on Monday evening. The search has now been reactivated, with assistance from the U.S. Navy. Kale was last seen on his 32-foot Cape Horn boat around 4 p.m. on Saturday, and efforts are ongoing to locate and rescue him. Copyright 2024 WCNC. All rights reserved.
