Teamsters Local 665 in San Francisco has welcomed the workers at the Marin/Sonoma Mosquito and Vector Control District into their union. This decision was made unanimously by the 33 workers, who play a crucial role in protecting the health and welfare of residents in Marin and Sonoma counties from mosquitoes and vector-borne diseases.

These workers are responsible for various tasks such as mosquito control, delivering mosquitofish, controlling ground nesting yellowjackets, and providing advice on rodent prevention and control.
