Nvidia and Amazon have made a significant financial commitment to support a partnership between the University of Tsukuba in Japan and the University of Washington in the United States. Both technology companies will contribute $25 million each to fund the universities’ AI research, with a specific focus on developing innovative solutions to global challenges. President Nagata Kyosuke of the University of Tsukuba stated that this new partnership will strengthen existing research in the semiconductor industry in both countries while fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
