In preparation for Monday’s total solar eclipse, concertgoers in Cutler Bay had a magical experience that was out of this world. The event, held at the Moss Center, featured a sold-out concert with music from popular space-themed films. The Alhambra Orchestra recreated classic soundtracks, providing guests with an audiovisual journey through the cosmos.

Attendees were able to enjoy visuals from NASA, enhancing their celestial experience. The concert was a partnership between the Alhambra Orchestra and the Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science, which also planned its own eclipse event. The Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale was set to host an eclipse viewing as well.

Director Alec Warren emphasized the importance of blending arts and science to inspire people of all ages. Concertgoers were given glasses in preparation for the total eclipse on Monday. The event truly was out of this world, providing a sensory experience that was unlike anything else.
