NWF Health Network to Host Rock the Kids Event

The annual Rock the Kids event, hosted by the Northwest Florida Health Network, brought music and support to the local community in Panama City. The nonprofit organization, which focuses on child welfare and mental health issues, serves 18 counties in the panhandle. Renowned artists Richie McDonald, Larry Stewart, and Tim Rushlow gave captivating performances that energized the crowd and helped raise funds for underprivileged children in the area.

Attendees and supporters showed their generosity, ensuring that vulnerable residents received the care and support they need. Mike Watkins, CEO of NWF Health Network, emphasized the importance of community involvement in supporting local children. The event aimed to raise awareness about taking care of kids in the local community and highlighted the ways in which people can be involved in children’s lives.

The vibrant atmosphere at Firefly restaurant set the stage for a night of giving back. Rock the Kids is a three-night event, with Panama City Beach being the second stop. The tour started in Pensacola and will end in Tallahassee, spreading awareness and gathering support for children’s well-being across the region. The event showcased musical talents and united the community in its commitment to uplifting and supporting its most vulnerable members.
