In the upcoming 2024 NFL draft, Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy is rumored to be a top priority for several teams in the AFC. The Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills are currently co-favorites to select Worthy, who set a record at the Scouting Combine with a 4.21-second 40-yard dash.
Both teams have a need for talent at the wide receiver position, making Worthy an attractive option for their late first-round picks. The Bills hold the 28th overall pick, while the Chiefs have the 32nd pick. However, it’s not just these two teams that are interested in drafting Worthy – the Miami Dolphins also have some interest, with odds of +750 to select him.
The addition of Worthy to a Dolphins offense that is already known for its speed could prove to be a challenge for opposing defenses. Other teams in the mix to draft Worthy include the Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers, and New England Patriots. While Worthy is not a guaranteed first-round pick yet, he is currently favored at -225 to be selected in the first round.
