The Italian video game industry will be honored at the First Playable event in Florence from July 3 to 5, 2024. Organized by IIDEA and the Toscana Film Commission in collaboration with ICE Agency and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event aims to foster growth within the gaming sector.
The previous edition of First Playable brought over 500 professionals and 1,000 business meetings, and this year is expected to offer even more networking and business opportunities. The event will feature meetings between companies, technical discussions, and an awards ceremony recognizing the best Italian games and professionals. It provides a platform for exploring opportunities within the gaming sector with esteemed partners.
As part of First Playable, on July 4th, La Compagnia cinema in Florence will host the Italian Video Game Awards (IVGA), organized by IIDEA to honor the achievements of Italy’s gaming industry. A jury will evaluate and reward standout games and professionals from 2023. To participate in First Playable 2024, interested parties can purchase “Full Access” or “Social Access” tickets on Eventbrite, providing entry to all major events including the IVGA ceremony.
