Race to the Front: Preview of the Martinsville Speedway’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Race

NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Schedule for Martinsville Speedway on Saturday

On Saturday, Martinsville Speedway will host the seventh race of the NASCAR Xfinity Series. With two wins each, Chandler Smith and Austin Hill lead the way in the season’s standings. John Hunter Nemechek and Kyle Larson have also claimed victories so far this year. The weather forecast for Saturday, April 6, calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 58 degrees.

In preparation for the race, teams will be practicing and qualifying on Saturday at Martinsville Speedway. The schedule for track activity is as follows (all times Eastern):

– Garage open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the Cup Series.

– Cup practice will take place from 4:35 to 5:20 p.m., followed by Cup qualifying from 5:20 to 6:30 p.m., both broadcasted on FS2, Motor Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

– The Xfinity race, consisting of 250 laps and covering 131.5 miles, will begin at 7:30 p.m., with temperatures around 49 degrees and no chance of rain during the start of the race
